Locally Sourced

We grow all the Hot Peppers ourselves!

While we do our best to locally source all of our ingredients one thing is guaranteed; we grow all of the Hot Peppers for our sauces right here in Tacoma, WA.

What started as a dozen or so pots scattered around the yard is now 100 + plants in raised beds and a new greenhouse.

Harvest When Ripe

We harvest when fully ripe for optimum flavor!

Growing our own Hot Peppers allows us to control the quality and taste of our amazing peppers. Picking only fully ripe peppers is essential to that process.

Being a small batch producer, we don’t need 1000 peppers at a time and can rely entirely on our harvests for production. In fact in the Fall Harvest season we are picking peppers faster than we can process so we deep freeze for use throughout the Winter/Spring.

Variety of Heat Levels

with the most amazing flavor in every sauce!

One of the things I found in the Hot Sauce Market is the tendency to make everything too hot for many people. Not everyone wants to ‘burn their face off’ as they say. That’s why flavor is the key to all our sauces.

Don’t get me wrong, we have some very hot sauces, but also some at the other extreme. I regularly hear from new customers “I don’t like hot sauce” or “It’s always too hot and I can’t taste my food”. Then after trying our “Sugar Rush” or “Jabba da Hutt” or “Devil’s Tongue” (our mildest sauces) they realize it doesn’t have to be that way.
